At Semanti College, the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) process plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and excellence of our academic programs. As the Internal Quality Assurance Lead, I am responsible for overseeing the continuous assessment and enhancement of our teaching, learning, and assessment practices. With an MBA and MSc in Education, I bring a comprehensive understanding of both academic frameworks and operational processes to ensure that our students receive a consistent, fair, and high-quality education at every stage of their learning journey.
Our IQA procedures involve regular reviews, feedback loops, and collaboration with faculty and academic partners to ensure that the standards set by regulatory bodies are not only met but exceeded. As the Internal Moderator at Semanti College, my role is to ensure that all assessments and academic evaluations are conducted to the highest standards of fairness, consistency, and quality. I work closely with faculty and academic staff to review and evaluate the assessment processes, ensuring that they align with both Ofqual-approved standards and best practices in academic assessment.
The key focus of my role is to support quality assurance throughout the academic cycle, verifying that assessments are both reliable and valid, accurately reflecting student achievement and learning outcomes. By providing detailed feedback to faculty and conducting regular checks on assessment materials and results, I help to maintain the integrity and credibility of the qualifications we offer.
